I absolutely love what I do and you will most definitely see that come through when you’re in the chair with me! I have a tremendous appreciation for dentistry as it lets me combine technical ability, spatial awareness and patient contact which is why it has been a perfect fit for me. Moreover, it gives me a chance to change lives and bring people back to their best, healthy selves. I see dentistry as a medium to showcase my passion and I am proud to be sharing this passion with you, your family and friends! My goal as a dentist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care so that their mouth stays healthy not only today, but for years to come.

I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated with distinction and multiple awards from the University of Western Ontario on the Dean’s Honor List. Post graduation, I was selected to complete a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital through the University of Toronto. This intensive residency provided me with training in all the specialties of dentistry including oral surgery, facial/TMJ pain, treatment of medically complex patients as well as the care for people with disabilities. Soon after,  I was lucky to have a chance to go back to my alma mater, Western University as an Associate Clinical Professor to teach students in the undergraduate clinic. As of late 2020, I inherited and became the proud owner of ‘the dental clinic’ and my primary focus at the practice lies in the placement of Implants, aesthetic and conservative dentistry, performing smile makeovers, wisdom teeth surgery and complex root canal therapy.

I take an extensive amount of continuing education and my training in Portofino, Italy in 2018 has had a major impact in my approach to clinical dentistry. I am an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Canadian Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Ontario Dental Association, Spear Education; a firm believer in life-long learning. A highlight of my career was providing dental care to the underserved communities in Tanzania, Africa through the Medoutreach program, service trips to Moose Factory in Nothern Ontario and the Dominican Republic. I am passionate about giving back to the community, at home and abroad and I look forward to your care! In my spare time,  I love traveling with my best friend/wife Pearl, trying out new cuisines and currently I remain exceptionally busy changing diapers for my little one, Kiyan!

It is my pleasure to be a part of the fabulous team at The Dental Clinic!

As a dentist, I love seeing my patients and helping them achieve and preserve their best smiles. To do this, I am an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. I completed my training in the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at the University of Sydney in sunny Australia, where I worked in private practice along the coast before returning to my hometown in Toronto.

I am always interested in the latest techniques and technologies to make modern dentistry a more comfortable experience. I enjoy practicing all aspects of general dentistry, whether it be to improve aesthetics, to reclaim function or to provide relief of pain for patients of all ages. I am committed to continuing education especially in my areas of interest such as endodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery.

Outside of dentistry, I’m a huge foodie and enjoy drawing and painting in traditional and digital media, playing tennis and fishing.

Cheers,

 Dr.Deanna Lue

I am very excited to be part of The Dental Clinic team and look forward to serving you with quality dental care. I value building long lasting and trustworthy relationships with my patients while prioritizing their comfort and best interests. It brings me great joy when patients who once had a fear of visiting the dentist, become more comfortable, calm, and not anxious under my care. I completed my undergraduate degree in Honours Life Sciences from McMaster University and from there I graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery at Western University. I am enthusiastic to regularly attend continuing education courses to keep up to date with the latest dental trends and techniques.

Outside of the office, I like to dedicate my time volunteering and organizing dental mission trips. One of my most memorable experiences to date has been traveling to Jamaica and Guatemala to provide dental care to underserved communities. Also in my free time, you can find me spending time with my family and friends at the golf course, travelling, or trying out new restaurants!

Warm regards,
Dr. Jenny Kim

I love being a dentist! Dentistry runs in my family and I’m happiest when I’m fixing teeth!  I graduated from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry in Halifax, and worked in Nova Scotia for a few years before moving home to Mississauga.  I’m excited to join the team at The Dental Clinic!  Regardless of your age, I take great care to ensure that each patient has an enjoyable experience in the office and walks out smiling!  When I’m not working in the clinic, I am an instructor at the University of Toronto’s Dental Faculty instructing students in the pre-clinical Restorative discipline.

My dental philosophy is that the prevention of oral disease is the foundation for good oral health and I take pride in educating my patients on how to maintain a healthy mouth and prevent oral disease.

In my spare time, I am a competitive rower, and enjoy baking, skiing, and camping.

Without a doubt, dentistry is a passion of mine! After taking a one-year hiatus in my mid 20s in order to figure out what my life’s work should be, I came to the conclusion that dentistry was it. The combination of technical skill, spatial awareness and patient contact was a perfect fit for me.

I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. I am currently an active member in the dental community, having been a representative for the Ontario Dental Association and an elected member of its General Council. Before going into dentistry, I completed my Masters at the University of Toronto in Alzheimer’s disease related research and studied the role of the immune system in health at the PhD level.

Furthermore, I have completed extensive continuing education and certification in the dental field with topics such as prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, general treatment planning and implantology. I have a keen interest in implants and am proud to have received my Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in acknowledgement of my training and abilities to place dental implants.

Lastly, when I go home, I enjoy what most people do — I love food, music, watching a movie and occasionally enjoying a cold beverage on a hot summer day. I also have a soft spot for watching my favourite Toronto team, the Raptors, play their heart out every season. But most of all, I love spending time with my family, friends and my wife and true love, Patrycja, and our somewhat clumsy and loving dog, Henry.

Hello, my name is Yasmin. I’m originally from Congo but was raised in Hamilton, Ontario. I moved to Toronto in 2017 and had a chance to meet incredible people including my wonderful co-workers here at The Dental Clinic!

I have many years of customer service experience. I worked as a cashier during my high school senior year and at the beginning of College. I graduated from Mohawk College where I majored in Biotechnology, though I decided not to pursue a career in the field since I enjoy interacting with people too much, and couldn’t picture myself stuck in labs.

Outside of work, I’m a student at Humber College, I spend most of my time studying or doing assignments. Aside from that I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, browsing through social media, editing photos or videos, working out, cleaning or eating lots of chocolate!
